Selected Holiday Homes, Country Cottages and Villas in Gran Canaria

Gran Canaria, one island to fall in love with

Gran Canaria is a diverse island, replete with a full sample of natural landscapes. Landscapes that seem to change around every bend, thanks to the microclimates that give the trade winds. This amount and variety of landscapes has caused the island to be known by the name of 'miniature continent'. We can enjoy both a mountainous countryside in the central area, as one of dunes in the south (Maspalomas Dunes) and different landscapes in the middlelands, where still retains the quaintness and peasant customs with small farms. There are remains of what was once a large laurel forest and pine forests, with some of the oldest samples of the Archipelago Canary Island pine, such as the pine forest of Tamadaba. Also deserve mention landscapes of coastline, 236 km very different . On the one hand, large yellow sand beaches in the island capital and in the southeast; on the other, black sand beaches and ridges in the north, and great cliffs with narrow but their skirts lovely beaches, and rocky areas in the north and west sides.
