The house is of traditional Canarian architecture, built on top of a rock of volcanic lava at the end of the 19th Century and restored in 2006, maintaining most of the original structure. You are able to leisurely walk through the estate and view the different fruit trees, such as avocado, lemon, orange and mango (although at present, fruit is not available to eat). The house stands alone and can only be reached by a 200 metres dirt track which crosses the Valley of Tasarte. Then for those searching for quietness and relax this is the placde to be.
You can count on an excellent climate, as this area is all about sunshine and is not very high above sea level. In Tasarte you can enjoy the countryside, the sun of the south of the Island, hiking or cycling and also fishing or enjoy the crystal clear waters of the beach. And if you dont know or have forgotten how lovely is a sky at night full of brighting stars here you will be able to admire that, star gazing enthusiasts will be delighted.

The house "Lengua de lava" ( the Lava Tongue) is located on a property of over 10.000 m2. Dominated principally by autochthonous flora (veroles, tabaibas, and tajinastes). Ten percent of its surface is planted with avocado trees and also other fruit trees are found. The house is situated in the Rural Park, "El Nublo" which also forms part of the area of the Island which has been declared "The Biosphere Reserve". The distance to Tasarte Beach is 6km, 2km, to the town of Tasarte (good supermarkt there) and 22 km to the town of Mogán.
The beach Playa de Tasarte, a beautiful natural stone beach, can be reached by car in about 10 minutes. A picturesque restaurant just by the sea shore offers fresh fish. Until the famous seaside resort and marina of Puerto Mogan is about 22 km away.
From the airport to the east of the island to the house you have to plan for a distance of about 80km.
A rental car is recommended.
